Low E Insulation Glass units are hermetically sealed combinations of a piece of 8mm low e glass and a piece of 10mm clear tempered glass separated by a dry airspace. Low e Insulated glass improve thermal performance, solar energy saving, significantly reducing heating and air conditioning costs. Low e IG units also reduce interior condensation in cold climates.
Insulation Glass are fabricated according to project specifications, can be constructed using a large variety of glass products to achieve desired aesthetics, meet design criteria, safety codes and/or to improve solar control and thermal performance. Glass options include clear float glass, low iron float glass, Low e glass, tinted float glass, reflective glass, silk-screen printed glass, hot bent glass, laminated glass, decorative glass and wired glass. The glass of IG units can be annealed, heat-strengthened, tempered or laminated.
