On September 21, 2016, China government announced new policy on truck load in mainland.
This new policy effected a lot for heavy products exportation, especially for building materials
industries like ceramics, glass, cement, stainless steel... Limited weight and height to make a
greater impact on the float glass market, in particular lead to the plate glass more than 2440mm
is more difficult to transport. The detailed weight limitation of each container type as below:
1. 20ft container
Gross weight over 10 tons can not be mixed with other products.
2. 40ft container, GP & HQ
Weight limiattion 25 tons.
3. 40ft HQ container
For shipping the container, the height couldn’t over 4200mm, the total length not over 22.1meter
To our clients, this new policy may cause purchase cost increased for below reason:
1. 20ft container
