About tempered glass and laminated glass
13.14mm safety clear toughened laminated glass is consist of two 6mm tempered glass together with interlayer film PVB/EVA. Tempered glass is heating annealed glass to over 600°C and cooling it rapidly, which locks the outer surfaces of the glass in a state of high compression, it is a safety glass which is used when strength is required. Laminated glass is processed with special technology under high temperature and high pressure by adding one or more layers of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) with tough and strong binding between or among two or more glass sheets.
Characteristics of clear toughened laminated glass
Excellent safety: the tempered laminated glass are bound by interlayer, can stop external force attack, even glass broke, the chips will not fall down, avoiding harm to person.
