Brief Introduction

Smart glass also call privacy glass or switchable transparent glass ( STG ), or switchable smart glass or smart film glass. It is state of the art laminated glass with a PDLC film interlayer between two sheets of glass. The PDLC film is two layer PET-ITO conducting film + Middle inside (LCD) Liquid Crystal Membrane.

The smart glass is an intelligent high function glass, which has a special characteristic of changing between clear and opaque by voltage control. When privacy is required the current is switched off and the crystals scatter into a random formation which prevents vision through the glass.

Glass size: Max 3000*5000mm, when size smaller than 1830*3300mm, one electrode is enough, larger than 1830*3300mm, need to use two electrodes

PDLC film: thickness 0.5mm, the widest size 1500m, and no limit on the length
